Special Theme Park rates for Florida residents
• Universal Orlando's deal is $10 off a two-park pass that's good every day through Jan. 31, 2010. Must be purchased by Jan. 3, 2010, but the earlier you purchase, the more bang for your $79.99. Although both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure parks can be crowded in December, it's usually roomier in January. Lots of details and fine print at universalorlando.com.
• SeaWorld Orlando's Fun Card, if purchased now, offers admission to the theme park from now until Dec. 31, 2010, for $69.95.
(Note that neither Fun Card nor Universal offer includes parking.)
• Walt Disney World's annual pass is now good for 15 months if purchased by Dec. 31, 2009. Passes are good at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom.
The three-month extension applies to seasonal passes (the ones with blackout dates), regular annual passes and the premium annual pass, which includes water parks. Prices on those passes range from $220 to $489. The 15-month clock starts from time of purchase.
